Mr. Larry Gene Phillips age 60 of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm - Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Junior Bryant and Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Glennwood Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(wife) Ila Mae McKinney of Fort Payne; (son) Jeffery Thomas of New Yord; (mother) Erion Voy Phillips of Fort Payne;(step-sons) Howard Edward McKinney and Thomas Curt McKinney both of Fort Payne; (brother) Terry Dean Phillips of Henagar; (4 greandchildren) Robert Lee McKinney, Casey Elaine McKinney, Thomad Curt McKinney, II, and Lacie Nicole McKinney; (1 great grandchild) Adain Williams; (nephews) Terry Phillips,and Steven Phillips.
Mr. Phillips was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his father -Charles Dean Phillips.
