Mrs. Bessie Pauline Richey Bartlett age 87 of Rainsville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in Crowne Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 11am-Thursday, August 7, 2008 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Karl Abernathy officiating. With an Eastern Star Rites to follow. Burial will follow in Miller's Chapel Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge. Survivors-(son & daughter in law) John Richey and Mary Ann Bartlett of Rainsville,; (daughter in law) Kathy Bartlett of Fort Morgan,; (brothers) B.O. Richey of Fort Payne, Allen Richey of Florida; (grandchildren) Melissa Annette Bartlett, David Bartlett, II & Carrie, Jeremy Adam Bartlett; (great grandchildren) Dustin Michael Rainer & Destiny, William David Bartlett; (great great grandchild) Brandi Alexis Rainer; Mrs. Bartlett was preceded in death by her (husband) Leonard Lother Bartlett, (son) David Lamar Bartlett, Sr. (parents) Lorenzo Sibert Richey & Martha Eliza Broadhurst Richey, (brothers) George, L.S., Earl, Billy Jack & N.T. Richey, (sisters) Agnes Smith, Thelma Floyd, and Mary Elizabeth Mitchell. She was a member of Miller's Chapel Methodist Church and was a Charter member of Rainsville Chapter # 529 Order of the Eastern Star. *the family will receive friends from 4 till 8pm Wednesday.
