Mr. Willard J. Thrash age 83 of Grove Oak, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Brookwood Medical Center - Birmingham.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm - Thursday, April 23, 2009 from New Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in the Adjoining Cemetery with Military Services to follow. W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors- (wife) Nina Thrash of Grove Oak, Alabama; (brother) Lynn Thrash of Hoover, Alabama. 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. Thrash was a Veteran of World War II, and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was preceded in death by (son) RODNEY THRASH, ; (sister) RUTH KNUPP, (brothers) VERBON THRASH AND KYLE THRASH.
