Mr. Hershell S. Jones age 82 of Rock Springs, Georgia (formerly of) Fyffe, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from the NHC of Fort Oglethrope, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 14, 2009 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roger Smalley and Sister Anzella Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(wife) Esther Mae Jones of Rock Springs, Georgia; (daughter) Linda and Don Freeman of Rock Springs, Georgia; (sister) Aileen Ramsey of Crossville, Alabama; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a daughter (Patricia Mezick) , and was a member of the Church of God.
