Miss Ovelle E. Benefield age 91 of Rainsville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in Crowne Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm-Thursday, March 26, 2009 from the Rainsville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Mann, Rev. Bob Pruitt and Rev. Billy Smothers officiating. Burial will follow in Nazerath Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(sisters) Hazel Benefield of Rainsville and Ida Lee Adcox of Gurley; (brothers) Barrell and Marilyn Benefield of Huntsville, David and Sandra Benefield of Guntersville, Wayne and Kaye Benefield of Rainsville; (nephews) David, Jr. & Lesa Benefield, Doug Benefield, Brian Benefield, Kelly & Wendy Benefield, Bob Lusk; (nieces) Helen & Jim Puckett, Charlotte & Barry Osborn, Trena & Rodney Coots.
Miss Benefield was a member of Rainsville First Baptist Church. She was a retired School Teacher having taught for 39 years.
