Mr. J.L. "Mutt" Simms age 91 of Rainsville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Dekalb Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm - Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Mountian View Memory Gardens with Rev. Roger White officiating. W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(daughter) Sandra and Fred White of Rainsville; (sons) Randy and Brenda Sims of Rainsville, and Andy and Patsy Sims of Sylvania; (sister) Emma Smith (brother) Calvin Sims of Boaz; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife (Nettie Sims) and a Daughter (Joyce Moses). He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
