Mr. Joseph Louis Stone age 89 of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Collinsville Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm - Friday, April 3, 2009 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Williams and Rev. Hoyt Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(daughters) Mary Jo Chandler of Pine Ridge, Alabama, and Sue and Monte Hall of Trafford, Alabama; (sons) Lamar Stone of Fort Payne, Alabama, Jerry Don and Windy Stone of Gaylesville, Alabama, (son-in-law) Sonny Hunt of Fort Payne, Alabama; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his Wife (Mary Stone) and a Daughter (Weadith Hunt. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Dekalb Lodge # 116 in Lebanon.
