Mr. David Lathanial Sharpe age 40 of Dawson, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Dekalb Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm - Thursday, February 26, 2009 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Nix, Rev. Michael Cleckler, and Rev. Melvin Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Walkers Chapel Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors-(wife) Gina K. Sharpe of Dawson, Alabama; (daughter) Madison Sharpe of Gadsden, Alabama; (son) Austin Sharpe of Gadsden, Alabama; (stepsons) Caleb Hairston and Jordon Smith of Dawson, Alabama; (parents) Kay and Raymond McElhaney of Fort Payne, Alabama; (sister) Lakita Sharpe Barakai of Houston, Texas; (brother) Wade Sharpe of Gadsden, Alabama;
Mr. Sharpe was employed by Mid West Logistics, He was preceded in death by his (father) John David Sharpe, and (grandparents) John and Mattie Sharpe and Cecil Ashley and Mamie Phillips.
