Mr. Herbert Earl Thompson age 76, of Ft. Payne passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Funeral services are set for 11am Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Walker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Monday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Thompson; daughters, Vicki (Clark) Stewart, Robin (Mark) Hester, Darlene (Lane) Hunter, and Kimberly (Terry) Lindblad; sister, Velma Robertson; brother, Gene (Barbara) Thompson; special brother, Wayne (Dianna) Meadows; grandchildren, Spenser Guest, Cade Guest, Ian Guest, Mason Hester, Katie Hester, Dakota Wright, Tanner (Alli) Wright, Isabelle Wright, Haley Lindblad, and Brianna Lindblad; step-grandchildren, Tyler (Madison) Gatlin, and Taylor (Tiffany) Gatlin; great-grandchildren, Evander Guest, and Karson Wright; step-grandchildren, Brayden Gatlin, Grayson Gatlin, Able Richey, and Levi Gatlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Thompson; and step-daughter, Lisa Adams.
