Obituary of RC Ledbetter

Mr. RC Ledbetter age 90 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at his residence.  Funeral services are set for 1pm Thursday April 5, 2018 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with full Military Honors. Burial to follow in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm Wednesday April 4, 2018 at the funeral home.  Officiating will be Bro. Tim Scott.

Mr. Ledbetter was born July 13, 1927 to the late Herman & Effie Ledbetter. He  was married to the Late Billie Jean Whitehead Ledbetter, who preceded him in death in March 2003. He proudly served our Country for over 21 years in the United States Army where he was actively engaged in the World War II, Korean & Vietnam Wars. After retiring his favorite place to be was on the Lakes of Texas fishing and his other pastime was carpenter work and building bird houses and being with family & friends.
