Mr. Loyd Elbon Bates, age 83 of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018. Funeral services are set for 1pm Monday April 16, 2018 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3pm-8pm on Sunday April 15, 2018 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. John Keefe.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Gaynell (Craig) Wilson
Sons: Kim (Beth) Bates, Johnny (Sherry) Bates
Grandchildren: Drew (Kristen) Bates, Casey (April) Bates, Cody (Krissie) Wilson, Ty Wilson, Brittany (Coby) Harrison, Kylee (Jesse) House
12 Great Grandchildren
*Mr. Bates was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Ellen Bates; parents: Robert & Ernestine Bates; 12 Brothers and Sisters*
