Obituary of Ronald Wayne Clanton

Mr. Ronald Wayne Clanton, age 59 of Sand Rock, AL passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Friday, October 5, 2018 from the Sand Rock Baptist Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1PM until 3PM on Friday, October 5, 2018 from the Sand Rock Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. Scott Hosey.

Wife: Vicki Jo Clanton

Daughters: Kelly (Jason) Yarbrough & Erin (Bret) Butler

Son: Andrew Clanton

Sister: Nina (Steve) McMeekin

Grandchildren: Jacob Yarbrough, Will Butler & Luke Butler

Nephew: Noah McMeekin

*Mr. Clanton was preceded in death by his Parents: Kermit & Juanita Clanton*

**Mr. Clanton was a retired Sniper Team 4 US Navy Seal and served in the Persian Gulf and several foreign wars. He was a member of Sand Rock Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He was also an active member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association -Gadsden Chapter**
