Mrs. Dorcus Marie Smith age 71 of Rainsville passed away Sunday, Nov. 24 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at WT Wilson Funeral Chapel at 1pm Saturday with burial following in the New Canaan Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Jeremy) Wooten & Bonnie Walker; sons, Dewey Smith, JR (Candace) Smith, Tony (Jennifer) Smith; sisters, Carlon Pendergrass; brothers, Rodney Eakins & Stevie Eakins; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Eakins &Darcus Eakins Tilley; husband, John Dewey Smith.
Family will receive friends Friday from 10am-8pm at the funeral home.
W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel is in charge.
