Mr. John Maxwell Clifton, age 89, of Pisgah passed away January 30, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from the Freedom Church. Burial will follow in Pisgah cemetery. Bro. Bud Durham will be officiating. Mr. Clifton will lie in state at the church from 1-2pm on Sunday prior to the service. The Family will receive Friends from 5-8pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Mr. Clifton was a Veteran and he served in the United States Army during Korea.
