Obituary of Vance Richey

Mr. Vance Leonard Richey, 75, of Rockmart, Georgia Passed away June 15th, 2020 at his home. He was born February 6th, 1944 to Mr. ZZ And Linnie Richey. Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial following in the Geraldine Cemetery.
He is a graduate of Plainview high school, as well as a member of Grace Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Until June 24th, 2010 he was a Master Mason at Lodge 838 in Geraldine Alabama.
In addition to multiple success in his career, he also succeeded as a father, husband, grandfather, brother and son. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion and will be missed by a host of family members.
He is survived by his wife Fronie Richey, additionally he is survived by his children: Gary A. Richey(Christine), Tina Moon(Randall), Terri Brown, Kimberly Beechboard(Charles), Kelly Richey(Tommy Reily), Tammy Richey and Chad Richey.
Vance was known as "Big Paw" to his 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his 10 siblings, his son, Gerald L. Richey, and grandson Keith E Mooneyham Jr.
Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
