Mrs. Emma Lorene Parker, age 88, of Pine Ridge, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am-2pm, prior to the service, on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Nick Harcrow, Joel Angel, and Michelle Parker Curtis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lupus Foundation and the American Heart Association. *Survivors* Son: David Robert Parker Niece: Theda Hasty Goodridge Nephews: Glenn Hasty and John Gaylon Hasty 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren **Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Robert Parker; daughter: Anita Lorene Parker; son: Ernest Eugene Parker, Sr.; father: Ernest Everett Hasty, Sr.; mother: Emma Estelle Berry Hasty; brothers: Ernest Everett Hasty; Jr. and John Billy Hasty** **Mrs. Parker was a member of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, AARP, VFW, Eastern Star, and an 8year American Red Cross Grey Lady Hospital Volunteer. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church and received her profession of faith at Millers Chapel Revival in July of 1941.
