Obituary of Rena F. Proulx

Mrs. Rena F. Proulx, age 82, of Fyffe, AL and formerly of Dover, DE and Holyoke, MA, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm, prior to the service, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Hoyt Gilbert. *Survivors* Daughters: Donna Kramer and Darlene Parker Sons: Richard Diehl, Daniel Diehl, and David Diehl, Jr. 12 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren **Mrs. Proulx was preceded in death by her husband: David Diehl, Sr.; daughter: Brenda Wagner; son: Joseph Diehl; grandson: Matthew Diehl; parents: Joseph Wilfred Geoffrey and Alice LaBarre Geoffrey** **Mrs. Proulx loved to take drives, it didn’t matter the where, it was the adventure. Finding new places, seeing old places. She just loved to drive. She loved going to the ocean, mostly Ocean City, Maryland, playing bingo and going to the casinos. She loved to read, her favorite author was James Patterson, and could finish a book in a day if it really grabbed her attention. Her favorite time was the holidays, she loved to cook (even if she grumbled) and have the family around. She enjoyed playing Solitaire every morning to wake up, Wahoo and Yahtzee with anyone who would play when they came to visit. While living in Alabama, she loved to feed and watch the birds and other wildlife from her porch. When the goats were across the road, she would get the biggest chuckle from the antics they displayed.
