Obituary of Donnie Randall Smith

Mr. Donnie Randall Smith, age 78, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville with burial to follow. Officiating will be Rev. Roger Griffith.
Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Wilma Smith; daughter, Teresa Smith Walker and her husband Greg Walker. Also, survived by his pride and joy; grandsons CJ Walker and his wife Lauren and Stephen Walker and his wife Rebecca. He leaves behind the joy of his old age, great granddaughter Eva Walker and a great grandson Dawes Walker, who will be here soon.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Vivian Smith. Also, brothers Bennie and Victor Smith.
Donnie was a kind, generous man with a joke, a silver dollar, or a pocket knife for everyone he met.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their loving care for the whole family.
