Rev. James Alvin Grindstaff, age 76, of Hammondville, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 from W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021 at the funeral home.

Daughter: Amy (Jody) Burrows
Stepson: James Cox
Sisters: Mary Townson, Linda (Donald) Vaughn, Ruby Fox
Grandchildren: Emily Hulgan, Luke Hulgan, Kara Eberhart, Austin Cox
Great Grandchild: Colt Eberhart

**Rev. Grindstaff was preceded in death his wife: Susan Bell Grindstaff; parents: Mitchell & Lucille Grindstaff**
**James pastored for over 50 years including Victory Baptist Church, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and Stamp Baptist Church (served for 29 years). James was currently a member of Sulpher Springs Baptist Church. He retired from Heil and worked for several years as a funeral assistant at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel**
