Mr. Fred John Burns, age 84 of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in New Canaan Cemetery with Military Honors and Masonic Graveside Service. The family will receive friends from 4pm-7pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the funeral home.

**Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his son: Russell Alan Burns; parents: Elvis & Martha Burns; sister: Shirley Heaton; brothers: W.G. “Husby” Burns, Rayford Burns, and R.C. Burns**
He was Past Master of Sylvania Lodge.
