Mr. Jessie David Brooks age 77, of Centre passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11am from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Griner, Bro. Chad Brown and Ronnie Bevel officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brooks; daughter, Jessica (Byron) Tilley; son, Jeffrey (Samantha) Brooks; sisters, Joan (Winford) York, and Vernia Mae Liles; brothers, Hoyt (Rosemary) Brooks, Arlan (Judy) Brooks, Denny (Cindy) Brooks, and Kenneth Brooks; grandchildren, Brad (Hannah) Ballenger, Casey (Cory Sims) Ballenger, Shelby Mackey, and Try (Hannah) Exum; 11 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Bill Yazel
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Yazel.
