Mrs. Wanda Thornberry age 86, of Ft. Payne passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Funeral services are set for 1pm Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bros. Wayne Wills and Roger Redden officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Evett, and Sonya (Jason) Maynard; son, Ray (Lisa) Thornberry; grandchildren, Mandy Morton, Lane Thornberry, Jason Thornberry, R.J. Thornberry, Jake Chandler, Courtney Weaver, Cody Maynard, Cory Maynard, Lacy Goodwin, and Dustin Goodwin; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Thornberry; son, Leonard Thornberry; grandsons, David Evett and Joshua Chandler; parents, Clemon and Elvia Hawkins Wills; and brother, Edward H. Wills.and sisters Glenda Keef, and Odessa Oyler
