Obituary of Charlcie Fay McClendon Owens

Charlcie Fay McClendon Owens, 82, of Dutton, passed away in Macon, Georgia on January 31, 2022. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.at W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Brother Charles Martin officiating. The family will greet friends, Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kirk Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Larry) Johnson of Macon, GA; sons, Johnny Owens of Alpharetta, GA, and Michael (Lisa) Owens of Paragould, AR; grandchildren, Natalie (Del) Massey, Courtney (Grant) Smith, Lisa (Jason) White, Valerie Johnson, Kamron Johnson, Landon Johnson; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Massey, Brooklyn Massey, Joshua White, and Micah White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Jean Owens; parents, Bruce and Annie McClendon; sister, Betty Mitchell; brothers, J. B. McClendon, Charles McClendon, and Willie McClendon. Charlcie was a substitute teacher for many years with the Jackson County School District and the Scottsboro City School District. She was a faithful member of the Boaz Church of the Nazarene and devoted much of her life serving in church and always putting others before herself. Charlcie was beloved by all who knew her and loved her Lord Jesus with all of her heart.
