Mrs. Verna Sanders Stephens Chandler age 92, of Ft. Payne passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Funeral services are set for 1pm Sunday, February 20, 2022 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Cates Noles officiating. Burial will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Rich) Argo and Helen (Jim) Brakebill; sons, Roy (Phyllis) Sanders and Arnold (Lee) Sanders; grandchildren, Nick (Kelli) Townson, Tammy Black, Lena Wilbanks, Ronnie (Becki) Sanders, Phillip (Amanda) Sanders; 14 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Nick Townson, Ronnie Sanders, Phillip Sanders, Cole Wagner, Isaiah Sanders, Daniel Proctor
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Nellie Brock; sisters, Adele Leach, Judy Fickett, Martha McGlathery, Faye Benefield, Bonnie Waller, Ceicle Wilks; brothers, Broady Brock.
