Mr. Willie James Loyd age 54, of Section passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. Funeral services are set for 2pm Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bros. Kenneth Westmoreland and Frankie Osmer officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Loyd; daughters, Kristin (Nick) Wolcott and Megan (Zack) Bankston; son, Nathan Loyd; borrowed daughters, Carrie Meyer, Brittany Talley, and Sabrina Payne; parents, Willie and Janice Loyd; sisters, Wanda Edgins, and Wilma Muir; brother, Wayne Loyd; grandchildren, Zeke, AJ, Liam, Brody, Maggie Jean, Kensleigh, and Heidi.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Charles Westmoreland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Scottsboro.
