Mrs. Barbara "Granny" McSpadden age 80 of Southside (formerly of) Fort Payne reached her heavenly home on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the loving presence of her family.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm - Sunday, August 28, 2022 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Robison officiating. Granny was originally from Fort Payne, Alabama. Granny walked in the light of God, spreading his word and love to the world. She had a heart of gold, she was always willing to do anything for anyone. She worked as a seamstress, manager at the Senior Citizen Nutrition Center in Fort Payne.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: daughters-Lisa (Rodney) Gilbert, Nancy (Stacie) Burks, son-Paul (Jackie) Hairston, chosen son- Marty (Sandra) Burks, grandchildren- Aimee (Heath) Glenn, Taylor (Derrek) Meeks, Tyler (Madison) Burks, Crystal (Austin) Peek, Amber (Colton) Robison, great grandchildren-Aubrey, Noah, Titan, Jase, Mason, Auston, Summer, Gaven, Kiara
she is welcomed to heaven by her Husbands-(Paul Noah Hairston, Sr.), and (Donald Ray McSpadden, Sr) daughter-in-law (Elwanda), and granddaughter (Tonya)
