Obituary of John H. Bolton

John H. Bolton (August 24, 1940 - September 7, 2022) made Heaven his eternal home on September 7, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones. John retired from Regel Textile Mills in 2003. John served in the Vietnam Conflict and served his country proudly. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant in the United States Army. John was a diehard Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his parents: Zollie & Maudie Bolton; daughters: Kathy (Josh) Echols and Deborah Dover; sister: Shirley Pena; brother: James Bolton; nephew: Raymond Pena. Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Stephen (Kela) Bolton of Skyline, AL., David (Delana) White of Section, AL., and Kenny (Becky) White of Lyerly, GA.; grandsons: Scott (Kim) Bolton of Teloga, GA. and Johnathan Bolton of Skyline, AL.; great granddaughter and "apple of his eye": Clairah Bolton; sisters: Mary Stanley of Summerville, GA. and Debbie Campbell of Anniston, AL.; brother: Larry (Retha) Bolton of Trion, GA. He is also survived by a several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm Eastern/11am Central on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from Green Hills Memory Gardens and Mausoleum in Summerville, GA. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
