Mr. James Ray “Pete” Whitten age 79 of Dawson passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Lusk Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Whitten; daughters, Cyndi Whitten (Kenneth) Hawkins and Nancy Melinda (Sean) Whitten Guffey; son, James Ray (Dottie) Whitten II; sisters, Peggy Lindsey, Carolyn Crawford, Katy Woodall, and Sandra Nolan; grandchildren, Caleb Hubbard, Mason Hubbard, Cassie Battles, Libby Whitten, and Avery Guffey.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lusk Chapel Cemetery.
