Obituary of Tyler Kevin Green

Our Dear Son, Tyler Kevin Green, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19th, 2022 at the age of 27 years. He was born in Knoxville, TN. and spent most of his life at his home in Birmingham, AL. Tyler will be forever loved and greatly missed by his family and all of those who were so instrumental in his care through the years. He was a beautiful and unique child, and touched many hearts and lives by exhibiting tremendous strength while fighting his way through many difficult health issues he faced during his short life. Tyler is survived by his parents, Kevin L. Green of Duluth, Ga., Joy Norsworthy Green of Quitman, MS. and his loving sister, Mary Kathryn Green of Birmingham, AL. Tyler’s grandparents are Rodger(Don) and Judy Green of Butler, AL. and Joe and Carol Ann Norsworthy of Quitman, Ms. He also leaves behind his Aunt, Lisa Green of Honeoye Falls, NY. and his Uncle and Aunt, Joey and Lisa Norsworthy of Cookeville,TN. We will all miss our precious Tyler(T Man or “Ty Ty”) but we find great comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and he’s safe and being comforted by the Loving arms of His Savior, Jesus Christ. Plans are being made to have a Celebration of Life ceremony honoring Tyler, with family and close friends in the near future. Those details will be available through the family at a later time. In remembrance of Tyler, we ask that all parents pull their children a little closer for an extra long hug during the holiday season this year. Rest in Peace Tyler.
