Dustin and I were friends for many years when we both worked at STRMC. He always had a smile on his face and ready to help with any problem to be fixed.

Mom and I loved Dusty and his little family.
He was so good to us. Before they move to Florida and back; he bush hogged my field many times. Most of the the time he wouldn’t take anything except maybe some gas money a time or so.
He was always helping folks.
When they were expecting Ben, it came a heavy snow. The roads were bad; Dusty came and picked me up. He took the four wheeler and pulled Julie, me and the kiddos in the boat around the neighborhood and around the pond. By the pond, there was a small drive. I said Dusty what if we go in the water. He said, “well you’re in a boat”!!! We had such a fun day!
Precious memories with Dusty, Julie and the kids!

So saddened to hear the news of Dustin’s passing. Always such a nice guy, one of the first members of management I met when I was hired at STRHS in OB. Sending prayers for your family for comfort in the coming days, as those will be so difficult. Lord, please bless this family.

Q: How did you meet Dustin?
A: I met Dustin in 2004 when he hired me to be The Plant Operations Service Coordinator at STMC. We got to know each other very well as we worked in the same department at the hospital. He loved his family and his friends. He was very outgoing and had a great business sense. He was a talented guitar player. I hated it when he left Winchester to seek other opportunities. I was very glad that he had returned to Winchester. I followed him on Facebook and I know that he was so proud of his wife and his children. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. I will keep Julie and his family in my prayers.

Dusty was my friend. Everyone that knew him realized that he was one of a kind. He was one of my favorite lead singers. He rarely remembered all the words and would look to Dallas and Me for help. But he always had a beautiful lead voice.
Dusty was also one of the funniest guys I knew. I remember him telling the story of putting a puzzle together when he was younger. He said he couldn’t get the pieces to fit, so he cut them with scissors. He was so funny that way.
We sang many songs for many people. He used to lead, “Yes He’ll deliver me in my time of need like those Hebrew children in the fire he freed. Like he fed 5,000 with two fishes and bread and He walked on the water and raised the dead. Well he stood by Daniel in the Lions den, and saved ole Moses from Pharaoh's men. Opened up the eyes of the blind to see, I KNOW that He’ll deliver me.”
I’m glad that it’s God holding my hand and that He’ll deliver me. Not because I’m good but because he’s faithful and true. He’s the Good Shepherd and I truly believe that Dusty knew that.
Love To All,
John Inman
