Mrs. Jolee Carrell Smith age 95, of Pisgah passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Funeral services are set for 1pm Saturday, January 14, 2023 from the W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel is in charge.
She is survived by her daughters, Lela Lindsey and Peggy Jean Hernandez; sons, Thomas Perry Knight and Joseph Lewis Knight; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Smith; sons, Joseph Andrew Knight, Thomas Verdell Knight and Nathan Lewis Knight; and sister, Ovie Joy Derryberry.
