Mrs. Evelyn Rains Mitchell age 88, of Fyffe passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Funeral services are set for 3pm Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Atchley officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. W.T. Wilson is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Alecia Lambert; son, Stewart Mitchell; sisters, Barbara Gore and Ann Duvall; grandchildren, Dr. Tara (Steven) Moncus; Matthew (Jennifer) Lambert, Amanda (Mike) Spoja, Elijah Mitchell, Sarah Mitchell, Erin Mitchell, and John Dallas Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Claire Moncus, Olivia Moncus, Maddie Lambert, Amelia Lambert, and Tavin Brashears.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Noel Mitchell; and parents, Homer and Ola Mae Rains.
In lieu of flowers make donations to Antioch Cemetery Fund.
