As a young woman she had different job titles, but on May 16, 1961 she gained a new job title, she became a mother to her one and only little girl, Tammy Mechelle. In 1977 she married the love of her life Milton D. Bray. She gave up public work, and he became her career. Together they made a life filled with hard work and happiness in the garden and flower beds. In 1983 she gained yet another job title, grandmaw, and blessed again in 2003 to be called great grandmaw.
