Donna Jakubowski, age 78, of Boaz, AL, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born on 02/24/1945 in Grand Rapids, MI, and lived most of her life in the area. She spent the last nine years living in the south, which she loved. Donna overcame many life challenges with incredible strength and resiliency. She always managed to maintain her sense of humor and positive outlook on life. She loved her family and friends dearly and it showed.
Donna is survived by her children, Kathy Jakubowski, Karla (Bob) Moskowitz, and Keith Jakubowski; nine grandchildren (boy or girl, she called them all George); ten great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Angell, and brother, Michael Lynch.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Jakubowski; daughter, Karen Laway; grandson, Chase Laway; father, Donald Lynch; and mother, Joanne Wiegers.
