Mr. Robert Walter Duke age 88 of Ft Payne (Pleasant Hill Community) passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Funeral services are set for 1pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Welton Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Monday at the funeral home. W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Billy) Ussery and Jeanie Waller; son, Alan (Monica) Duke; sister, Reba Russell; grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Ussery, Chase (Lucy) Duke, Jake (Amber) Waller, Ali (Tom) Moses, Chris Waller, and Brian Waller; great-grandchildren, Lettie, Colton, Keagan, Auron, Elsie, Nola, Eli, Broady, Brinley, Alyssa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Duke; parents, Orbra and Gertie Mae Duke; son-in-law, Guy Waller; and sister, Jeanette Bell.
