Mrs. Gaynell Hosch Berry age 83, of Fyffe passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Funeral services are set for 3pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bros. Michael Hosch and Jerry Myers officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until 3pm Tuesday at the funeral home. W.T Wilson Funeral Chapel is in charge.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Larry) McGee and Donna (Don) Lingerfelt; sister, Myrtle Wilborn; brother, Kenneth (Yvonne) Hosch; grandchildren, Crystal (Ronald) Chambless, LaBranda (Zach) George, B.J. (Jessica) McGee, and Angie McGee Steele; great-grandchildren, Caylee and Sarah Chambless, Ava and Barrett George, Ellie and Molly McGee.
Pallbearers: Chris Thacker, Daniel Armstrong, Aubrey Hosch, Darrell Akins, Donny Murdock, Jackie Coots
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tip Berry; parents, Nathan and Nellie Hosch; sisters, Ruby Hosch, Lilly Bell Liles, Pearline Fowler, Willie Mae Coleman, and Dellar Willkie; brothers, John Hosch, Harold Hosch, Hollis Hosch, Lee L. Hosch, Hoyt Hosch, and Willard Hosch.
Mrs. Berry was retired from the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department.
