Mr. Joseph Eugene “Papa Joe” Flaherty, Jr., age 85 of Fort Payne, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Funeral Mass will be held at 3pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with Rosary Service at 2:30pm. Burial will follow the services in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1pm-2:30pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the church. Officiating is Father Rick Chenault.
