Mr. Kellett was my high school principal, and he gave my husband Ben a job as science teacher. He had strict standards for both teachers and students, and he was always happy to hear success stories. Ben and I last saw him at my 50 year class reunion, and we both enjoyed catching up on everyone’s lives since I moved away. I am grateful for that last visit and for the chance to say thank you. Students tend to take principals for granted, but there are many success stories thanks to Mr. Kellett’s leadership as principal and later superintendent. Prayers of comfort for family and friends and for all whose lives were touched by him. Terry Tumlin Everett, Class of 1967
